Year 4

Hello from 4C

Learning has been lots of fun in Year 4 so far this year. Students have been learning lots of different strategies and reading many amazing books. They have also worked on figurative language which was a piece of cake (idiom), and made their faces light up brighter than 1000 suns (hyperbole). Another highlight this term has been spending time visiting and learning all about our school farm.

In numeracy they made 3D shapes out of marshmallows and toothpicks which was lots of fun, but also a challenge not to eat the marshmallows until the end. YUM!

Students have been working on challenging themselves to think outside the box and use problem solving skills to solve a range of problems in numeracy, science and inquiry.

It’s almost time for the holidays with the end of term fast approaching. It will be fabulous to have a break, and we look forward to a busy Term 2.
