Principal's Report

NAPLAN

 

Congratulations to all students who completed NAPLAN.  Whilst we know it is only a moment in time, I am proud that all children tried THEIR best. That’s all anyone can ask! 

I would like to thank Mr Balzary, our Year 3 teachers and our Year 5 teachers for the work that goes into implementing NAPLAN online. 

 

We are trying something new….

 

We have started a podcast.  The purpose of the podcast is to have a chat to a few people in and around the school, talk about some events and get to know staff and students. 

 

The podcast is called “You Don’t Put Tomato Sauce On Your Dimmies” and is currently on our website under the “Community” tab.

Easter Bonnet Parade 

 

Thursday 28th March, we have our Easter Bonnet parade. Upon request from our sustainability team we hope everyone tries their best to decorate their hats with items from around the house.

Monday 25th March – please make sure your child is in full school uniform and at school on time. 

 

Our Gate and Access to LPS 

 

In the morning…..

Our school gate opens at 8.20am. Parents walking their child down to Team Kids should be the only ones onsite before this time.  

 

In the afternoon….

Our school gate opens at 3.20pm. Please wait in the ANZAC garden (not around main buildings) or at the front of the school until 3.20pm when all parents, carers and high school students are welcome onsite. 

 

Our office….

Is accessible at all times throughout the day. 

 

Using Toilets Onsite

 

Student toilets are for LPS students only.  If any parent, toddlers, high school students etc. need to use the toilet please come to the office as we have a toilet available for use.
