Learn to Swim

All students from Prep-Year 4 will be participating in our Learn to Swim program.  This will be held at the Splash Devonport Aquatic and Leisure Centre and lessons are taught by qualified swimming instructors.  Class teachers and teacher aides will attend with their class. 

Dates:

• Thursday 3rd April-Wednesday 9th April - Year 3/4 students

Venue: Splash Devonport Aquatic and Leisure Centre

Transport: Kinetic Bus

Please Pack:

Asthma puffer (if required)

Bathers

Towel x 2

Plastic bag for wet clothing

Goggles (optional)

Drink & extra snacks

Please bring items in a sturdy carry bag (plastic bags are not strong enough) and ensure that all items are clearly named. 

Students are to wear their sports uniform for the duration of the program. It is also recommended to bring an extra snack to eat before or after their swimming lessons.

Please indicate your permission via Consent2Go.  Your child will be unable to participate without consent. Any students not swimming will still be required to travel to the pool with their class and observe.

Hot Cross Buns

On Friday 11th April, as part of celebrating Easter and the last day of Term One, DCS Community will have Hot cross bun lunch treats available for all students to purchase. Information on how to order can be found here.

Easter Service

Please join us on Friday 11th April from 8.40am for our Easter Service in the Jiloa Centre. 

All are welcome as students and staff worship and reflect on the Easter message, followed by morning tea.
