Blue Level Award

I’m excited to announce that CJC has been awarded the Blue level award for our SWPBS implementation.

Below is the criteria we had to meet to be eligible for this award:

• Full implementation of SWPBS across the school

• Data-driven decisions to track and improve student behaviour

• Clear behaviour expectations that are consistently taught and reinforced

• Tiered support for students based on their needs

• Staff training and commitment to SWPBS practices

• A positive school culture that supports all students

From the department website: “In general, the Blue level is considered a significant achievement, and only a smaller percentage of schools typically reach this level compared to those that might be at the Green or Yellow levels, which often reflect earlier stages of implementation or less consistent application.”

A special mention to the 2024 SWPBS team for all their efforts in this area 😊
