General News
Federal Election: CJC is a voting site for the federal election on Saturday 3rd May. It’s traditional for voting sites to host a BBQ and Cake stall throughout the day for the voting public. If you are able to help on the day with set up, cooking on the BBQ, selling cakes or packing up at the end of the day, please follow the link to volunteer – https://volunteersignup.org/events/share/628270 A call out for cake donations and instructions will be made at the start of next term.
We are looking for a BBQ coordinator for the day. If you are interested in helping with this, please contact the PC via your convenor or the PC email.
If you love making puns, please send through your pun ideas relating to the candidates (Josh Burns, Sonya Semmens, Sean Rubin and Benson Saulo, and the leaders of the major parties Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton) to the PC email.
Mother’s Day Stall: The Mother’s day stall will be held on the 9th May. Volunteers are requested to help throughout the day with helping children chose their gifts. Please see this link to volunteer for the Mother’s Day stall - http://volunteersignup.org/JWY7Q
