Harmony Day

Today, we came together as a school community to celebrate Harmony Day, a special occasion that reminds us of the many cultures that enrich Sacred Heart School. Through shared experiences, traditions, and stories, we recognize the diversity that makes our community so vibrant.

A heartfelt thank you to our parents, grandparents, and friends who joined our classes to share stories, food, and special aspects of their cultures with the students. Your generosity in sharing these experiences made the day even more meaningful.

We also appreciate the families who encouraged our students to dress in national costumes, cultural colors, and other representations of their heritage. The students were proud and happy  as they gave hi fi's to their friends and classmates as they participated in the Harmony Day parade.

A special thank you to our Year 2 educator, Vivian, and our Year 6 captains for leading the prayer and parade, and to Signora Rosaria, our Italian teacher, for preparing and organising this special day for us.

Thank you all for making Harmony Day such a memorable and joyful celebration!
