Finance Report – April 2025
School Newsletter – Finance Update (Term 2) Welcome Back to Term 2!
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back! We hope you and your families had a restful break and are settling into Term 2 smoothly. As always, we’re excited to see our students back and ready for another term of learning, growth, and fun.
Term 2 brings a number of exciting programs, including sporting, classroom incursions, and enrichment activities, all of which rely on timely funding to run smoothly.
We understand that family life can be busy, and we're doing our best to give as much notice as possible for all upcoming camps, excursions, incursions, and events.
To assist with your planning, please keep reading our newsletters and checking Compass regularly. This is the best way to stay informed about what’s coming up and ensure you don’t miss important dates, consent forms, or payment deadlines.
Your support in staying up to date helps us make every event run smoothly and ensures all students have the opportunity to participate in these valuable experiences.
We’d like to take a moment to thank all families who have made their Curriculum Contributions so far this year.
While these contributions are voluntary, they make a significant difference to the resources and opportunities we can provide. Funds go directly toward:
Every dollar helps us to offer a richer, more engaging learning environment for your child.
Payments can be made easily via Compass Pay under Events/Action Centre.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Camps, sports, incursions, and excursions are a valuable part of your child’s school experience, helping to build confidence, social skills, and engagement through real-world learning.
To help us deliver these activities smoothly and fairly:
We completely understand that unexpected things can happen. However, we ask families to plan ahead and meet these deadlines to ensure your child doesn't miss out. By sticking to cut-off dates, we can provide well-organized, inclusive events for all students.
Last term, the front office received a number of enquiries regarding the use of the School Saving Bonus (SSB). As previously mentioned in our newsletter, the COMPASS portal currently does not support direct allocation of SSB funds by parents.
We have been in contact with COMPASS, and while they are working on a solution, they have not yet provided a release date. However, they have assured us that enabling this functionality is a high priority due to the strong demand from both schools and families.
In the meantime, please note the following process for using SSB funds:
Following these steps ensures efficient processing and allows our team to better support all families in a timely manner.
If you have any questions regarding payments or financial support, please don’t hesitate to contact our school office. Thank you again for your cooperation and support—we’re looking forward to a fantastic Term 2!
Warm regards,
Jess Moran
