Parents and Friends Committee News
We are excited to be bringing the fun back for term 2! We hope everyone had a nice Easter break and is settling back into the school routine.
Term one recap:
- We introduced the new PFC Committee. We have hit the ground running and are all learning a lot.
- The Green and gold free dress day brought extra colour to our school yard and we are so thankful for everyone who brought donations to support the iCan Challenge. We have taken on all feedback we received about this event.
- Students had the opportunity to do an Easter egg guess, and the winner was announced at the final assembly. Congratulations to Riley in 114!
- Finally we had choc top day which was a delicious success! Thank you for helping us to work towards our fundraising goal. Hooray!
Mother’s Day Stall
Our helpers have been busily working to have everything ready for next week.
PLEASE NOTE: The date has changed and the stall is now next Wednesday, 30th April.
Please get your orders in on Qkr by Friday 25th April (tomorrow).
The COLOUR RUN is back for 2025!
The date is set for this June 5th. Further details are coming your way very soon.
This is a much anticipated event for many students and we are so excited to bring this one back for 2025 BUT…. To make this happen we REALLY need your help. If you are available on 5th June, please head to the Colour Run volunteers link to sign up. volunteersignup.org/AH9QQ
Why are we doing all of this?
We want to make 2025 a super fun year for our students AND we also want to raise money for STEM supplies.
It’s wonderful to see the LPPS curriculum expand to include STEM this year and we’re hoping to help build this program by raising enough money for a 3D printer and some other fun equipment for the benefit of all students.
