Supreme Incursions - Terrific Team Building

Thursday the 20th March our Year 4 students participated in a 90-minute workshop learning about teamwork and team building. Our energetic presenter Emma organised all students into co-operative teams where students had to quickly ‘get to know’ their group, use our School Values to collaborate and co-operate with one another. Students were scored on our ‘School Values System’ achieving points for their team when they demonstrated the value of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Learning and Honesty. We also added an extra value which was ‘Kindness’.

Students were given 10 problem solving tasks that they had to complete in a certain timeframe. Emma and the Year 4 teachers were very proud in the way that our cohort demonstrated teamwork and built effective teams in the short amount of time that they had to complete the timed group challenges. Students will use this new learning to support their development across the year applying this to other experiences and future problem solving.
