PREP AA

Hello families!

We have had an amazing last few weeks, enjoying creating and finishing our very own narratives with illustration! We have started to look at information reports and learning about Australian animals. In Numeracy, we have been learning all about time, how we describe what day/month it is and what items we can use to help us tell time. In History, we have continued to look at time but in regards to what similarities and differences we have with our peers when it comes to who and what we do on the weekends, what food we eat, where we go etc.

Crazy Hair Day:

We had so much fun celebrating crazy hair day, thank you all for contributing and taking time out of your morning to do such amazing styles!

R U OK day:

We enjoyed discussing as a class what RU OK day means to us, how we can support other students in our classroom and in our school as a whole! We enjoyed creating badges and eating some fun yellow snacks!

Special events:

Tuesday the 17th of September:

Caldermeade Farm excursion, Please ensure your children are at school by 9:00am!

Students are to bring a rain coat, a packed lunch and a little water bottle, this can be brought along in a small bag as the students will have to hold and look after their own belongings.

We will leave for the farm at 10:00am, and arrive at 10:30am. We will enjoy having an educational tour of the farm followed by ice cream and free play before we have lunch and then depart to be back at Officer Primary for 2:30pm.

We are so excited to have our first excursion, and look forward to sharing lovely stories and pictures from our day!
