EUREKA BASKETBALL

On Friday 23rd August, four basketball teams from the school headed off to Selkirk Stadium to compete in the Eureka District Basketball competition. All teams participated well over the day against some tough competition. We had some great results from the 4 teams and it was pleasing to see the team work and individual skill develop throughout our training and competition day.

A huge thank you to the coaches who gave up their time to help guide the teams through the day. Also a big thank you to the families of the students who were able to come along to the stadium. It was fantastic to see that much support from our Miners Rest community.

Just a reminder if you didn’t hand your basketball uniform back, can you please remember to bring it back to school and give it to either Katherine or Mr Brown.
