Book Week

This term during WEEK 7 (26th - 29th of AUGUST) we are celebrating Book Week for 2024! This Year's theme is: ✨ ✨ 🔮 'READING IS MAGIC'🔮 ✨ ✨

All students and staff are encouraged to participate in activities across this week that are emersed in all things Books!

✨TUESDAY 27th - Student Quiz during lunchtime within the library, earn house points and prizes!

✨WEDNESDAY 28th - Book Mark making session within the library

✨THURSDAY 29th - Dress-Up Day all day, and Dress-Up Competition during lunchtime held near the new courtyard area/middle basketball courts. I can't wait to see what characters arrive at school! All students and staff are encouraged to participate in the Dress Up Day. If students would like to participate in the competition that day for their costume, you could be in the running for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes!

✨FRIDAY 30th - Magic Movie session within the library, shhh comfy times ahead!

Premiers ' Reading Challenge Reminder

If students are participating, the rules are as follows:

Year 7, 8 and 9 - 10 Books minimum are to be from the Premiers' Reading Challenge List (Orange Spine Sticker in Library). 5 Books can be any of the students choosing. Years 7 & 8 are required to complete the challenge.
Year 10 - 5 Books minimum are to be from the Premiers' Reading Challenge List. 10 Books can be any of the students choosing.
Minimum 15 Books are to be read in total for each student.
All read books must be verified by a Library Staff member and Teacher.
All Books must be entered online and marked as finished.
The Challenge is to be completed prior to September 6th.

All Students who complete the Premiers' Reading Challenge will receive:

A certificate from the Premier.
House point for books read.
Prizes upon completion.
