While watering and weeding this week, we talked about the importance of pollinators as we looked at how peas form on a plant.

Emma loves weeding! 

This often results in her finding interesting invertebrates to share with others, this week, she came across a beetle larvae. Larvae like this are often found when digging in gardens and could turn into any of a number of beetles such as a rhinoceros beetle, Christmas beetle or stag beetle.
