CAREERS

In Term 3, the focus shifted to subject selections across both campuses, with students making decisions that could shape their future choices. The subjects that students choose can influence the range of further education and training courses available immediately after leaving school. It is always exciting to speak with students about their interests, future aspirations, and plans that come from such meetings.
Also thinking of the future are our Year 12 students, who are now either putting into action those subject meetings of the past, applying for further study, or preparing for employment, an apprenticeship, or traineeship in the new year.
For some students, organising work experience has been crucial in shaping their career paths. A well-organised and structured workplace experience is instrumental in helping students cultivate both new and existing skills, preparing them for continuous learning in an ever evolving and demanding setting.
CAREERS NEWSLETTER
A friendly reminder to our college community that a dedicated Careers Newsletter is published every two weeks to update students and families on upcoming events and information.
The purpose of the Careers Newsletter is to provide information in one central location. The newsletter is emailed directly to students in Years 10, 11, and 12 fortnightly and is also accessible to the wider college community.
