Mrs Deborah Crane
What a great way to end the term with a visit from AFL Player Adam Saad today and on Footy day as well. Thank you to Adam for coming to PVNPS and sharing your voice around 'effort and persistence' to get where you have got and how team work is essential. It was great to hear you discuss how showing RESPECT to everyone the key to being a great person and leader.
Thank you for signing many, many items and for staying for the handball competition.
Thanks for signing my Guernsey.
Thank you to the 67 family responses we received for parent voice/feedback for what we are doing well and where our areas for improvement are.
Our overall results have improved in many elements from last year and this is showing an upward incline! YAY! Here are some of the major elements that have high % increases. There were many others by 1-3%.
Here are some of the areas that we will focus on and put into our annual Implementation Plan for 2025. We have been working on some of thes ethis year by revising our Homework policy and what this will look like in 2025 and how to communicate this more effectively and also how to inform parent of learning goals throughout the year and not just at report time.
I hope you all have had time to reflect on Term 3 at PVNPS. I have and what I have discovered are the many special activities and events that we have provided for students across the school. I wanted to thank families for their support and for my staff who continue to aim for higher expectations for our students.
Here are a some photos of just a few special events we have had:
We will be continuing our Specialist Programs in 2025.
They are:

Our class structure will look like this in 2025:
Prep x 3 classes
Year 1/2 composite classes will be made x 4 classes
Year 3/4 composite x 5classes
Year 5/6 Composite x 4 classes
Bell Times:
We are currently investigating different models for BELL Times. However, the start and finish times will be the same.
Thank you to Macleod Trees who have been out yesterday and today to prune and tidy up all our Tree and cut down our tree that has died and broken in half. We thank them for providing us with the mulch and tree off cuts for our gardens.
It has been great to have three sessions of Prep Transition already for students in 2025. The preppies coming in are delightful and ready for school and to learn. We have another four sessions later next term and we look forward to welcoming them in 2025.
If you know of anyone who has not enrolled their child for school, please let them know to do this as soon as possible.
