BVPS Girls Football 

Congratulations to BVPS Girls Football team for an exciting PSSA season! 

On Tuesday 20 August, the BVPS Girls Football team played against Inverell Public School in the semi-final of the PSSA State Knockout Competition. 

The girls showed great determination coming back after half time, with Eliza Magann scoring a goal to even the score 1-1. They continued to defend and had quite a few scoring opportunities, but unfortunately could not seal the deal. In the last 8 minutes of the game, the heat and size of the field did not come as an advantage for us. The final score of the game was 3-1, with Inverell slotting in two more goals. 

Thank you to all the parents who have supported us along the way. A special thank you to Renee Russell for donating sport socks to our uniform kit, and thank you to the girls for their high level of sportsmanship and enthusiasm. It has been a pleasure coaching you this season!
