Year 5 Camp

On Monday, 13th of November, the Year 5s embarked on their journey to Forest Edge. From the moment we arrived, we hit the ground running with activities and non- stop fun! We were lucky the sun was out for us when we arrived so our water activity groups could jump in with no hesitation. As for the other days, a little rain and cloudy conditions didn’t dampen our spirits. Despite some hesitations at first, the Year 5s campers showed real determination, resilience and bravery plunging into the cold water.

The range of activities included the Flying Fox, Riddle Rogaine, River Sledding, a waterslide, Frisbee Golf, Climbing Wall, Low Ropes and Team Building Challenges. We were fed SO well, getting opportunities for a second helping at every sitting. Trivia Night showcased some amazing general knowledge, musical knowledge, sporting knowledge and of course our knowledge of tv and movies!

A HUGE thank you to all the staff who attended and especially the parents who volunteered their time to support us and allow us to participate in such a great camp. We are so lucky to have such wonderful and outgoing parents within our community! Thank you to Mr Torr and Mr Godwin for organising the camp.

Year 6 Excursion

On Wednesday, 15th November, the Year 6s travelled by bus to Club Tivoli to enjoy a German feast. It was wonderful to learn the history of Oktoberfest, Bavarian culture and traditions, all while being entertained with German musicians. We left with our bellies full of food and soft drink (maybe a little too much). Thank you to our German teachers for organising such a fantastic excursion, immersing us in German history and food.
