St Vincent de Paul Society Christmas Donations

Dear Parents, Students and Staff,

As the year continues to race toward its end, we are reminded of all the things we have to celebrate, be thankful for, and of all the ways we can help those around us. This year we will be collecting chocolates (Preps-Year 2), fruit mince pies and shortbread (Year 3 & 4), tinned salmon and tuna (Year 5 & 6) and making monetary donations to buy presents for boys and girls in our community, whose families are supported by Vinnies Victoria.

So if you are able to donate any amount of money - big or small, over the next three weeks, it would be greatly appreciated. Each class will have a donation box that students can contribute to. On Thursday 7th December food and monetary donations will be collected, to be made into Christmas Hampers to be delivered to families in time for Christmas.

We would also like to acknowledge that many families in the community may be finding this Christmas a little bit harder than most and so we would like to share a gentle reminder that if anyone in our school community needs help at this time, you can access support through the Welfare Assistance Line on 1800 305 330, which operates 10.00-3.00 pm Monday-Friday (not open public holidays).

Thank you for your continued support in all that we do.

Peace and blessings,
