Learning in S36

Senior School Cameron is sharing the learning taking place in their class…

In S36 we have been working hard to plan, draft, revise, edit, and publish imaginative recounts.  Most students have chosen a Christmas theme and are publishing them as picture storybooks.

Later this term we will meet up with our Year 2 buddy class to share our picture storybooks.  It has been great to see students focusing on writing an engaging piece suited to their audience.

In Inquiry, we have been learning all about animal adaptations and how animals change in order to help them survive in their environment.  Alongside researching different animals and their adaptations, we have been investigating how animals camouflage.  We gave Miss Cameron a challenge to find all of our camouflaged butterflies in the classroom. Below are some examples, see if you can spot the butterflies.
