Good luck to our students who are participating in this weekend's Regional High School Basketball Tournament.
With matches played at both Swisherr and the Kingborough Sports Centre, it is shaping up to be an exciting weekend of basketball action for Team sVc.
Thank you to all of our dedicated coaches and managers who have been working hard with our boys over the past six weeks in preparation for this tournament.
A top three finish for our two Division 1 teams will see them qualify for a place in the State High School Championships being conducted in Launceston, 9-10 December.
The specific age group draws can be found on the Basketball Tasmania website or by following the link below.

Well done to our Year 9 and 10 rowers who raced at State Pennant Two recently. In less than ideal conditions the team showed grit and put in some excellent performances winning the U17 Mens Quad Scull and finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th in the U17 Mens Single Scull. Go Team sVc!
A shout out to Year 8 Student Athlete Jonte Tummon who is making some serious inroads into the sport of Mountain Bike (MTB) racing.
This year Jonte has produced some amazing results competing in the U15 age group.
5th, National Down Hill Championships, Thredbo in February.
1st, State Championships, Derby in May.
3rd, NSW State Championships, Green Valley in September.
1st, Enduro Nationals, Red Hill in October.
With this impressive resume, it is no surprise that Jonte is an ambassador for the Maydena Bike Park and has a collection of sponsors supporting his MTB journey.
Jonte's determination, structure, commitment and balance to his sport and school work is to be commended, and is reflected by receiving a Gold Commendation at the recent College Awards Assembly.
Well done Jonte!
