Principal's Message 

This term has been full of exciting events and celebrations. We have had a successful and memorable Year 6 Camp, an engaging P&C disco and the Running Club is active and thriving, thanks to the support of dedicated staff and parents. Our school-wide programs, 'Everyday Speech' and 'Protective Behaviours,' are progressing well. The Yarning Circle has been successfully located, and the vegetable garden has been established and starting to produce some amazing tomatoes. We're proud to see students demonstrating their Auslan skills, not only in congratulating their peers but also in delivering an impressive rendition of the Australian anthem. In honor of Remembrance Day, both students and staff took part in a meaningful ceremony on Monday. The collaboration between students and staff highlights our commitment to creating a lively and inclusive school community. Thank you to all involved- students, staff and parents, who have assisted in these events and celebrations this term.

Echidna's Assembly

Congratulations to Ms. Fennell, Mrs. Smith, and the Year 3/4 Echidna's for a fantastic and engaging assembly last Friday! From Aussie jargon, jokes, and fashion to singing an incredible song about being Australian, the students displayed a diverse range of skills, knowledge, and excellent teamwork. It was a proud moment celebrating our Australian identity.

Year 6 Leadership 2024

Coming up is our Year 5 Leadership speeches. Every Year 5 student has a chance to take on a leadership role in various areas next year. Mrs Rogers and Mr Telford have been guiding the Year 5s, helping them grasp the qualities and values essential for effective leadership. We wish all our upcoming Year 6 students the best as they prepare and deliver their speeches. Good luck!

Workshops – Triple P and Protective Behaviours

 It was wonderful to have been able to provide two parent workshops this term:  “Triple P: How to get your child to do what you want them to do” and “Protective Behaviours.” The feedback from attendees was very positive. We're pleased to announce that we are currently arranging more sessions, spread throughout the coming year.

Caring C’s

You may have heard about the important token target for our upcoming school event. I'm excited to share that we're almost there—just 154 tokens away as of Monday! Keep an eye out for updates on the big event, which could happen next week. We'll share the details through MGM and Class Dojo. Stay tuned!

As we approach the conclusion of Semester 2, end-of-term reports will be sent to parents via email. It's important that we have your current and accurate contact details. If your email address has changed since last semester, kindly get in touch with the school office to provide the updated information.
