Dear Families,

Last week was our sports themed week.  We were able to bring sports inside by playing straw soccer which was lots of fun.  We set up a table with goals at each end and armed the children with a straw each and a polystyrene ball which they had to blow across the table and try to get it through their goal.  There was also a sports quiz on the pupil free day which the children organised and challenged each other.

We have had rubbish robot week where we are reminded about the three R’s, Re-duce, Re- use and Re-cycle.  We had a robot Lego challenge and had some great entries. Our Rubbish Robot Bin is nearly ready for display and is a way we can check what we want to throw into the bin and sort out the correct area it needs to go.

As summer is coming and school holidays are not too far away, we are spending next week camping at OSHC.  Our camping themed week of activities will hopefully get us ready for some holiday fun and we can pick up some camping tips as we share stories and learn a thing or two.

We hope everyone has a great weekend, especially with the fete tomorrow which is very exciting and I know I can’t wait to check out.
