The production is fast approaching! Please take the time this weekend to ensure that you understand everything.  

TICKETS

Please make sure that you have secured your tickets this weekend as we may open sales up so that families can buy extra tickets soon! First, though, we need to make sure that everyone has bought their allocated 3 tickets per student (or less, if you don't need them all). 

 

All of you have helped to ensure this success - so far we haven't had anyone complain of missing out on tickets, so thank you to each and every one of you for sticking to the limit! What a wonderful community!

ACE families - please ensure a prompt 8am drop off at the Darebin Arts Centre on Monday 17th.

 

If you would like a hardcopy of these 'movement cheat sheets', please ask the office. 

AFTER CARE / OSHC

Families who have regular bookings with OSHC that coincide with the production dress rehearsal and shows have been sent communication and a link to a form. Thank you to the families who have completed the form already. We need every family to complete that form today. Remember to complete one form per student. 

COSTUMES

Classroom teachers are in charge of costumes, so please refer to the information that your child's teacher has sent out. 

 

On the days that your child has dress rehearsals, they need to wear their 'base' clothing to school and to the Darebin Arts Centre. For some students, their base clothing is black pants and a white top; for others perhaps there is no base clothing - it varies from double class to double class.

 

The dress rehearsal dates are:

  • Thursday 13th August (ACE only, at school - BDF should wear their normal uniform)
  • Friday 14th August (BDF only, at school - ACE should wear their normal uniform)
  • Monday 17th August (everyone, at Darebin Arts Centre - see the Movement section above to ensure that your child goes to the right location at the right time)

 

If your child tends to get muddy at playtime, then we recommend that you think about spare clothes for them to change into for playtime but note that we can't give each child a private change space, so wearing shorts and a singlet (or similar) is highly recommended.

 

Label all clothing (your own personal base clothing and school uniform)!

 

Any costume items that are being shared across the mirror class (ie used by students from both A and B classes) must remain in the possession of the school at all times.
