SRC 2025

At SJV, the Student Representative Council (SRC) provides students with a voice and an opportunity to be actively involved in school life. Elected by their peers, SRC members represent their class in regular meetings where they share ideas, help make decisions, and work on projects that improve our school community. Through the SRC, students develop leadership skills, learn about teamwork and responsibility, and contribute positively to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
Their role includes: student input on school issues such as the playground, fundraising, promoting initiatives such as Bullying No Way Week and special activities such as Wellbeing Day and community projects. This year they have already discussed what their fundraising will be contributing towards and are currently working on choosing names for our House Colour groups. The SRC will also play an important role assisting in creating and reviewing child-friendly versions of the school's Child Safety policies and codes of conduct.
We are very proud to work with this enthusiastic and motivated group of students.
