Grade 3 Inquiry Expo Reflection
At the end of last term, our Grade 3 students proudly hosted their very first Inquiry Expo.
This exciting event was a wonderful opportunity for students to share their learning with classmates, teachers, and families. The expo showcased weeks of hard work and curiosity as students explored key Geography topics, including Australia’s climate zones, vegetation, and how people manage our natural resources.
In the lead-up to the event, students developed their own personal learning intentions, allowing them to take ownership of their learning journey. They investigated how different climate zones affect the Australian landscape, examined the types of vegetation found across the country, and explored how people care for and manage our natural environments.
For the expo, students created informative and eye-catching posters to present their findings. Each poster reflected the student's individual research focus and was thoughtfully designed to communicate key information clearly. It was wonderful to see the variety of layouts, visuals, and creativity on display. The posters were a fantastic way for students to share their learning with pride.
