2026 BYOD Program

Through the past 12 months, School Council, in partnership with the Information and Communications team, have discussed the implementation of the BYOD program at LPS.

Please see the Year 3 BYOD commencing 2026 notice regarding the introduction of the BYOD program (a paper copy has also been sent home with students).

What does BYOD mean?

It stands for ‘bring your own device’ and refers to a program, whereby participating students in grades 3, 4, 5 & 6 purchase a selected computer device from the school.  The BYOD computer is for students to bring into school each day to use as part of their learning, then to take home each night and use as they please. After students leave our school, they then own this device to keep forever.

There will be a BYOD parent information night for families to attend to gain more information in Term 3.

If you have any urgent questions, which are not addressed on the school website, please email the school and such will be directed to the ICT department to help you.
