Student Leadership

Celebrating Student Leadership
Dear Saltwater Community,
At the heart of our school, we believe that student voice and agency are powerful tools for growth and transformation. We understand that when students are given the opportunity to express their thoughts, ideas, and opinions, they not only feel valued, but they also become active participants in shaping their own learning experiences. Encouraging student voice empowers them to take ownership of their education, allowing them to engage with the material in a deeper, more meaningful way.
We also recognise that fostering student agency—providing students with the ability and confidence to make choices, set goals, and take action—helps cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a sense of responsibility. These essential qualities not only prepare students for academic success but also for their future roles as leaders and engaged members of society.
