Year 3 Persuasive Writing: Week 6

Year 3 have been learning how to use emotive language to make their writing more persuasive. 

They have been choosing powerful words to make their arguments stronger and more convincing. 

Their writing is full of great ideas!

In Mathematics, students have been deepening their understanding of number patterns by creating, extending, and identifying patterns that follow specific algorithms. 

In Literacy, we had the pleasure of engaging in a sensory exploration activity, where students made popcorn and documented their experiences through all five senses—taste, smell, sight, touch, and sound. 

This week also marked a significant milestone as students completed their first NAPLAN assessment. 

They approached this task with enthusiasm and demonstrated great effort and focus. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and achievements!
