Emotions

The students are focusing on emotions during their SEL sessions until the end of the term. These sessions look different in each level. Concepts such as what some of the different emotions are, what your face and body looks like when we feel different emotions and how we can respond when we feel certain ways are all explored. 

Understanding the response of our body when we are angry, scared or stressed is important to enable us to regulate our emotions. Below are some posters from the Peaceful Classrooms program that students have been looking at. They show how is our brain made up and what is happening when we are experiencing different emotions.
