Enterprise Computing SMART HOME Challenges 

As a part of their course, Senior Students in Enterprise Computing are using some software kits and a wooden house to create a SMART HOME device as documenting their progress as they create the device for their second Assessment Task.

The challenge is to pick a SMART HOME device and document it with photos and videos as they construct and get the device to function using some coding. As the devices can’t be connected to the Internet, they will be stand-alone devices to show how these work in real life.

Some of the students have been creating a door alarm, voice or sound activate lights and a trip alarm.

Students are also required as a part of the task, answer questions on Cybersecurity. 

students will decide early Term 2 if they wish to use this Assessment Task as the basis of their Enterprise Project. 

All requirements are due the end of Week 7 where we will provide updates on how they have created their SMART HOME Device. 

An update of their results will be given in Week 8.
