Open Boys & Girls Touch

Open Boys Touch
The boys opens touch team put in a great effort in Wagga on Thursday, putting together a few set moves to get them over the line on a number of occasions against some very strong competition.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to make the top 4 to go on to the next level, however, the effort and persistence they showed throughout the 5 games was exceptional and a credit to a very young side.
Well done fellas and I look forward to taking you again next year.

Open Girls Touch
Last week the open girls travelled to Wagga to play in CHS Touch.
The girls went into a tough first game against Kooringal. In this game we saw some good passing by Kiki, Bella and Ella along with good commination by Sienna and Cadence helped in defence, unfortunately the girls went down by 2 tries.
In their second game the girls played RAP. Dezi, Gemma and Zoe produced some nice runs breaking through the defence. Dezi and Gemma scoring 1 try and Sienna 2 tries to secure a win 4 to 2.
In their third game the girls had another good win against Junee 4 tries to 3. Dezi, Gemma, Ella and Sienna all scoring while Kiki, Bella, Maddie and Charlie all worked hard in defence.
The last game of the day the girls had a loss to Wagga. Sienna, Kiki and Gemma made some good plays while good meters were made by Maddie, Bella and Cadence.
Overall it was a really good day. The girls would like to thank Jaida Lyons for her help on the day and Brayden Ingram for refereeing.
