On 28 April, we had the parent and carer information session with Vanessa Hamilton, who covered content around human sexuality, consent and protective safety. Thanks to those who were able to attend - it's great to hear how many of you found it helpful in starting age-appropriate conversations at home.

Accessing the Talking The Talk Virtual Classroom parent platform:
As part of a best practice, whole school approach to sexuality education, parent resources are provided through a virtual classroom. If you were unable to attend the parent and carer information session, the platform includes a recorded version of the presentation, as well as a free eBook and lots of useful links.
In Week 3, the students will start Healthy Sexuality Education lessons in class with their teachers. Below is a table of topics covered across the year levels:
