Assembly Timetable

HARMONY DAY 

Dear Parents/Carers, 

On Thursday 21st March, Wales Street Primary School will be celebrating Harmony Day. 

Teachers and students are encouraged to dress in orange or wear clothing that represents their cultural background. 

During Harmony Day, all students will have the opportunity to participate in a cultural activity to promote an appreciation of different cultures, tolerance, respect and inter-cultural understanding.

Please help make this year’s Movie Night - The Bad Guys on Saturday 23 March - a big success so we raise lots of funds for the school’s STEAM budget!

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS: On the Saturday for set up, ticket checking, candy bar, walking the perimeter to safely herd wandering kids back to the oval and pack down. And on the Sunday for litter picking. They’re short 1-hour shifts so you can combine supporting and socialising.

KIDS’ HOMEMADE FILMS DUE 7pm TOMORROW, FRI 15 MAR: Any budding filmmakers please submit a short film (max 2 minutes) by emailing wspsfilmfest@gmail.com to be part of the Kids’ Homemade Film Festival part of the evening 7.30-8pm. Guidelines attached. 

TICKET SALES: Bookings are now open. Tickets $10 for everyone aged 5 and over. Under 5s go free. Please buy yours early to avoid any disappointment (the past three years we have sold out)
