Principal message

Dear Families

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of St Monica’s Primary School. I feel privileged to join this vibrant school community, where the dedication of staff, students, and families shines through.

At St Monica’s, we are proud of our rich history and our commitment to nurturing students to become respectful, responsible, and resilient learners. As we continue this journey together, I am eager to work closely with our staff to maintain the excellent learning environment St Monica’s is known for while exploring opportunities to further enrich the educational experiences for your children.

Collaboration between home and school is vital for fostering the best outcomes for students. Over the coming weeks, I look forward to meeting you at school events, during drop-off and pick-up times, or simply through day-to-day interactions. Your insights and perspectives as parents and caregivers are invaluable in ensuring we continue to support your children in all aspects of their development.

As we approach the final weeks of the term, let us celebrate the achievements of the year gone by while preparing for the exciting opportunities ahead. I am confident that, together, we will continue to make St Monica’s a place where every child feels valued and inspired to thrive.

Thank you for the warm welcome I have already received. I look forward to getting to know each of you and working alongside you to nurture our wonderful school community.

Regards,

Matt Knight
