3/4C signing off for 2024

This year has been an incredible and busy one for everyone in 3/4C. We’ve had a wonderful time exploring new topics, learning new skills and strategies, building strong connections and growing together in so many ways. The many experiences we’ve shared have been truly enjoyable and memorable.

Let Your Light Shine

Our theme for our Class Mass this year was 'Let Your Light Shine'. We discussed and reflected on how we can bring light and positivity into others' lives, becoming a source of brightness for those around us. Together, we brainstormed many ways about how we can be the light, support and guiding path for others.

Bike Ed

This term the 3/4s have been lucky to be apart of the Bike Ed program, a program designed to teach essential bike-riding skills and road safety awareness. Each week the students are excited to get onto their bikes and practise new skills. The sessions have incorporated a practical side as well as completing online modules. It’s been wonderful to see the students skills and confidence grow with each session!

Fractions and Decimals

For the last two weeks in maths, our classroom has been buzzing with excitement as we dive into the world of fractions and decimals. Students have been learning how to recognize, compare, and represent fractions and decimals, as well as how to convert between fractions and decimals. Through hands-on activities, games, and real-life examples, we’ve discovered how fractions and decimals are all around us. The students have shown fantastic problem-solving skills and a keen enthusiasm for this topic.

Remembrance Day

On Monday 11th November, we observed Remembrance Day. Our whole school held a special service to commemorate the occasion. Additionally, we created poppy-themed art to honour and remember those who served in the armed forces. We reflected on the importance of Remembrance Day and what it means for us today.
