Year Five Life Saving Victoria Open Water Excursion
On Friday 22nd of November our Year Five cohort went to Sandridge Beach in Port Melbourne for their open water excursion. It was a lovely 28 degrees at the beach and the Year Five students spent their time learning the following things:
This excursion helps the students to be prepared and aware of water and beach safety for their upcoming Year Six Camp, happening in Week Two of 2025.
A big thank you to the Year Five classroom teachers, Mr Mather, Katrina O’Connor, Pauline Caffyn, Prue Haggerty and Nicole Wright for helping to facilitate and run the excursion. Your help was very much appreciated.
