Stage 3 Gingerbread House Competition

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ..."

This year Stage 3 joined O'Connell Public School in a Gingerbread House competition. Houses were delivered and students competed within their classes to be the group to complete the painting. It was a great opportunity for teamwork and creative talent.

We would like to thank O'Connell School P&C who provided the houses to paint. They advise us that they had over 90 volunteers, 15 schools and multiple community organisations participate. To celebrate their collective achievement, they are inviting the community to the media launch. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and the chance to celebrate with those who have worked so hard to bring together the wonderful display.

They will be launching the event in conjunction with Fish River Festival this Sunday (December 8th) at O'Connell Pub. The festival is a free event and will run from 11:00am-6pm. They will be officially opening the Gingerbread house competition at 4pm with media interviews and photo opportunities to follow.

Our gingerbread houses will be displayed with the others on the road heading into O'Connell.
