A Prayer for Trust and Hope

Lord, You are my safe place. When I feel lost or afraid, remind me that You are always with me. Help me to trust You in every moment.

Keep me from following false paths. In a world full of distractions, give me the strength to stay close to You. You are my only source of peace and joy.

I know You have good plans for me. Show me the right choices to make. Guide me when life feels confusing, and help me to see Your purpose for me.

Be my joy, Lord, even in hard times. When I feel empty or tired, fill my heart with Your presence. Let me find comfort in knowing You are near.

Thank You for the hope of eternal life. I know You will not leave me, even after death. Help me to live each day for You, with trust that You are leading me home.

Amen.

Psalm 16 is read and reflected upon at this week's Masses. When preparing the Foundation class Mass I found this prayer based on the psalm. It really spoke to me. I hope that you to may gain comfort and strength from it too.
