Cultural Infusion Incursion

On Tuesday 7th May the Foundation and Year 3/4 students participated in a multicultural incursions as part of their inquiry units. Sessions included a Bollywood experience, rhythms and instruments of Africa and Chinese drumming.

Below are reflections about the incursion from some Year 3/4 students:

Alice and Cindy: "We liked the Bollywood dancing and when the teachers danced. The music was from a Bollywood movie. We learnt how to do a move called Peacock Hands."

Justin and Zandrina: "We did Chinese drumming. It was really loud, but we still liked it. The Lion Dance was extremely good. I hope we do it again. The African drumming was also good. The person doing the African drumming was great at singing!"
