Over the years, we have had the merger of the three schools and our recent new building development.

Building name description
W.A Kuhne Hall
Mr Wal Kuhne, was a principal of Kyabram High School from 1963 to 1981. He was principal for 18 years
Fischer
In the past this has been called:
• Senior Building
• Year 11-12 Building
• Double Storey Building
• To recognise the Fischer site and Secondary site of the merged schools
Yakoa
• Previous part of B Wing
• In Yorta Yorta language means Campaspe River, local river in the area
• Yakoa flows into Dungala
King Technology
Named after:
• Brian King, Principal Kyabram Secondary College, 1989 to 1997
• The building was finished in 1996
• This name also represents the King River and continues the flow of water/communication theme.
Ganda
• Previously part of C wing and D wing
• Houses our Art, Ceramics, Textiles, Food classes
• Ganda means creative in the Yorta Yorta Language
Daborra
Previously known as
• Year 9 Studio
• Year 7 Studio

• Daborra means Pathway in Yorta Yorta Language
Marrinbidja
• Previously our VCAL buildings
• Means Tool Work in Yorta Yorta Language

• Eildon after a large waterway in the area, feed by the Goulburn River.

• Dungala in First People’s Language means, Big Water or Murray River. The rivers of Yakoa and Goulburn flow into Dungala

This is our new staffroom and library
Algabonya in Yorta Yorta language means Meeting Place
This area is used by our college to hold meetings and large gatherings

This is our new canteen
Mandiga in Yorta Yorta language means Food
