WPBS Rewards Shop Launch

Dear Kyabram P-12 College Community,

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our SWPBS Rewards Shop, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards fostering positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment at our college.

Over the past months, we have diligently laid the groundwork by imparting the principles of School-wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) across our institution. From classrooms to corridors, we've been committed to nurturing a culture where positive actions are not only recognised but celebrated.

Each positive acknowledgment, recorded and communicated home, serves as a testament to the values our college upholds. Our students have been earning their stripes, demonstrating behaviours that reflect our core values. Now, it's time to take the next step: the introduction of our SWPBS Rewards Shop. Every acknowledgment earned by students translates into SWPBS points, which they can redeem for privileges and items available in their classroom and connection teacher's tubs. Additionally, our dedicated SWPBS store will be open for primary students on Wednesday lunchtimes and secondary students on Friday lunchtimes.

We are confident that this initiative will not only motivate our students further but also reinforce the positive behaviours that are the cornerstone of our college ethos.

Last Monday evening was an exceptional occasion as we opened our doors to parents and guardians for our Year 7 Information Night. It was an invaluable opportunity for families to gain insights into the vibrant teaching and learning environment that defines Kyabram P-12 College.

Throughout the event, our dedicated staff members guided guests through an array of informative sessions and interactive displays, showcasing the diverse academic, extracurricular, and support programs available to our Year 7 cohort. From highlighting our innovative curriculum to discussing our comprehensive student support services, every aspect of our educational framework was meticulously presented.

On Friday, April 26th, our college spirit was on full display during the P-12 Cross Country event. Students enthusiastically participated, showcasing their athleticism and sportsmanship. Congratulations to all participants, with special recognition to those who have advanced to the next stage of competition.
