2025- Foundation Enrolment Information

ACTION NOW REQUIRED FROM FAMILIES

This year all schools across Outer Eastern Melbourne (including our school) are using an online system for new enrolments to Victorian government schools called VicStudents.   VicStudents is available for students who are enrolling in a Victorian Government School for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2025.

VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.

To commence an online enrolment: Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application.

THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING MUMS!

Recently, our students were excited to visit an amazing Mothers Day Stall which was managed by our Parents Association.

We extend a huge thank you to the following parents, who were available to assist each class as they selected items for Mothers Day.

Thank you to:

Amanda F, Annie S, Bec K, Emma K, Hannah B, Jess G, Jodie A , Jemma C , Kerryn M

Traffic Safety Management for Students

The below information is a follow-up to communications we shared with our community regarding traffic safety management for students (re: Compass Post titled READ AND ACT INFORMATION: 2024 Traffic Safety Management for Students- dated 11/12/2023 > 01/03/2024).

You may notice new traffic signage installed at the following points:

  • Morris Road Visitor Carpark
  • Riley Road Staff Carpark

This improved signage supports existing safety rules which remain in place:

  • Morris Road Visitor Carpark
  1. Access to the Morris Road carpark is closed to all vehicles between 8:15am - 9:15am on school days.
  2. Access to the Morris Road carpark is closed to all vehicles between 2:45pm - 4:00pm on school days.
  3. Vehicles may continue to access the Morris Road carpark outside of the above listed hours.

  • Riley Road Staff Carpark

The Riley Road carpark is restricted to staff access only. With an increased number of staff to service our student community, some staff are forced to park in surrounding streets.

  1. Access to the Riley Road carpark is closed to all vehicles between 8:15am - 9:15am on school days.
  2. Access to the Riley Road carpark is closed to all vehicles between 2:45pm - 4:00pm on school days.

Improved signage is an important mitigation action which promotes student safety. Other mitigation actions currently being undertaken are:

  • School Council is actively communicating with Yarra Ranges Council, advocating for improved traffic management in surrounding streets
  • School Council is actively communicating with the Victorian School Building Authority, advocating for improved all-abilities and staff parking.

On behalf of School Council, we extend our appreciation to all parents/carers who are actively working to further promote student safety.

 Communicating with the Principal
