Term 1, Week 1

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to our first 'official' weekly newsletter for 2024.

School commenced on Tuesday for our 707 enrolled students and 78 staff members. Congratulations to all our parents who have successfully navigated the first week back at school. Our Prep families had the added bonus of seeing their young ones commencing their first day of  1400  days- give or take a few in their primary school career. 

School Newsletter: Our weekly school newsletter will be distributed electronically on a Friday at 3.30pm. It is a particularly important avenue of communication between the school and home. Each week there is significant information that is passed on to families via this publication as well as reports of upcoming events and activities that are happening around the school. It is essential that parents and guardians make sure that they read the newsletter each week and are aware of what is happening around the school and upcoming events.

School Photos: School photos will be on Wednesday 7th February. Students are to wear their summer uniform, with their school shoes (no runners). If your child has PE on this day, they can bring their runners in their school bag. Order forms were sent home yesterday. There are two ways of ordering photos, either online via the  webite (details are on the form) or by placing the correct money into the envelope provided and returing it to school by Wednesday.  If you wish to have a sibling photo, you may collect the order form from the office. 

Being in the Right Place at the Right Time is our school's focus at this time of the year. Below I have outlined the daily program and as you can see there are changes from last year. Our aim is to streamline the day - reduce interruptions to the learning program and provide clarity to all members of our school community.

Please ensure your child/ren is arriving after 8.30 and leaving by 3.30 each day. Please contact the Office if there is a delay. 

Introducing The Team - Our Lady's 2024

Here at Our Lady's  School, we have an extremely committed team of professionals who work together to make our school a great place to learn and flourish. We have a wonderful and supportive ‘learning community’. We also have a committed Leadership Team, amazing dedicated staff, and a highly engaged learning community.
