Looking for a host family for female Japanese student
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are still looking for one more host family. Could you please contact Lucie Dickens dickensl@kilvington.vic.edu.au if you can host for 12 days in Term 3? Thank you very much.
Managing traffic at School - Lillimur Road
We have designated 'Kiss and Go' areas on Katandra and Leila Roads, where drivers can stop momentarily to allow their children to disembark before moving on.
Currently, we're concerned about the level of traffic entering Lillimur Road (between campuses) from Leila and Oakleigh Roads, as it's resulting in parking extending beyond the permitted 15 minutes.
Unless you are the parent or carer of an ELC or lower Junior School student (Prep to Year 2) who needs to accompany your child to class, we kindly request that you refrain from using Lillimur Road for drop-offs. Older children can be dropped off using the 'Kiss and Go' areas or in the surrounding streets.
The congestion around 8.30am is posing a safety risk to our students, parents, staff and residents. This risk can be minimised by reducing traffic entering Lillimur Road.
We thank you for your understanding and support!
Protocols for managing illness at School
As we head into the colder weather, we're seeing a rise in the number of students and staff afflicted with colds, flu and COVID-related symptoms. Reports indicate that COVID cases may surge in Melbourne over the coming months.
To help us navigate this, we urge you to keep your child at home if they are feeling unwell and adhere to the protocols outlined in the attachment below.
The School is committed to ensuring we have practices in place to minimise the impact of COVID and other infectious viruses. Thank you for your understanding and support, and we look forward to working with you to help keep Kilvington safe and healthy.
