Swimming Trials

The HOLT District Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday 16th February 2024 at Oakleigh Recreation Centre.

In order to select two boys and two girls in each event we will be holding our swimming trials at GESAC – Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre on Thursday 8th February between 9.30-11.00 am. It is compulsory for all Year 6 students to attend so we can assess their 50m swim as part of the Water Safety Certificate. We encourage any student in Year 3/4/5 or 6 who would like to represent our school in the events of freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, or butterfly to trial. Please note that we will only be taking competent swimmers to the district carnival, each child must be able to complete their nominated swimming stroke for 50m non-stop confidently.

A letter was sent home on Wednesday about this. Please send it back to school asap. There are spare copies in the office.
