What a wonderful start to the year in our School Food Garden!

Grade 3 and 4 students will be coming to the garden each week this year.

We have started off the term learning about safety in the garden and harvesting lots of summer vegies.

Check out the enormous 'Trombocino' zucchinis we are growing!

We have also enjoyed tasting fresh vegies in the garden such as corn, cucumber and beans.

Thankyou to all the wonderful families who watered the garden and cared for our chickens during the summer holidays. Thanks to you, our chickens are healthy and our garden is thriving!

We are always looking for new volunteers in the garden, if you would like to help out with garden classes on Fridays, or help care for the chickens next holidays please email joanna@cultivatingcommunity.org.au or come and say hi in the garden on a Friday.
