Principal's Message

Welcome to a new year at St Joseph’s Primary School Wee Waa.

As we gather once again as a learning community in Wee Waa, we do so with gratitude for the gift of a fresh start and with hope for all that lies ahead. New beginnings bring a sense of sacredness, and the excitement of possibility.

Our focus this year continues to be building a strong culture of learning growth. Every child knows they are capable, known by name, and supported to take the next step in their learning journey. From our youngest students taking brave first steps into school life, to our senior leaders modelling responsibility and service, each young person has an important part to play in shaping our community.

Already, our classrooms are alive with curiosity, routine, and relationship-building. Term 1 is always about setting strong foundations. We commit to clear expectations, high support, and a shared commitment to Living Well and Learning Well together.

I extend my sincere thanks to our families for your trust and partnership. Education is always at its best when school and home walk side by side. I look forward to the many moments we will share this year — in classrooms, on playgrounds, at community events, and in prayer.

May 2026 be a year marked by growth, courage and hope with all.
