Variety Show
Kildare’s variety show for 2026, Primetime, is coming up fast in Term 2, with shows on the 11-13 and 18-20th of June. This is a fun-filled night of song, dance and performance, open to students from all year levels.
Auditions are currently taking place for the following acts:
Vocalist / Drama Auditions
Auditions will be held in St. Eugene's on the following dates:
- Tuesday 17th March → 3:30-5:00 pm
- Sunday 22nd March → 1:00-2:30 pm
Students will need to prepare one song - verse and chorus - (for vocalists) or a
short skit (drama performers) to present on the day. Auditions can be booked at the following link.
Dance Auditions
Dance auditions will be held in the College Hall on:
- Wednesday 18th March → 3:30 - 4:30 pm
- Sunday 22nd March → 2:30 - 3:30 pm
Students will be taught a short dance routine on the day. We ask that students complete the following form so we’re aware of numbers.
Expressions of interest for the band and stage crew are also welcome, with details on how to apply on the Daily Notices.
Should none of these times work for students, we ask that they please reach out to Ms Patterson and Ms Hale to organise an alternate time or video audition.

In accordance with the Safe Working Policy, areas where enclosed leather footwear that cover the top of the foot and sturdy non-slip soles is required are.
- Industrial Arts and trades workshop areas
- Science laboratories
- Canteen or Food Technology (Kitchen) areas
Teachers will be enforcing this policy throughout the year and it is a reminder to families to please ensure students have the correct footwear to participate in the lesson.
In addition, any student undertaking Food Technology (Year 9 or 10) and cooking in Year 8, are reminded to bring a plastic container to take their food at the end of the practical lesson. We are unable to provide disposable plastic containers.
