GEOGRAPHY

YEAR 8
In Year 8 Geography, students have been learning about coastal landscapes and the processes that shape them. This week, they participated in a hands-on simulation to explore how waves impact coastlines.
Through the activity, students observed how wave energy can cause erosion and deposition, gradually reshaping the land. The simulation helped bring key concepts such as hydraulic action and longshore drift to life, giving students a clearer understanding of how coastal environments are constantly changing.
It was a practical and engaging way to see geography in action.
