The Arts and Technologies

The Art and Technology Department was proud to recently return to the 2026 Berwick Show— our first time participating in a few years. It was wonderful to reconnect with this much-loved local community event for over 177 years and to see our students’ creativity on display.
We were delighted to receive a Participation Award ribbon, recognising our school’s contribution to the show. Our exhibit featured a diverse range of student work, including painting, photography, sculpture, woodworking projects and a selection of photos showcasing our Dance Academy students. The display highlighted the breadth of talent and skill development across both The Arts and Technology areas.
We are also excited to share some highlights from the VCE Art Creative Practice program. Our Year 12 students are currently developing their self-directed folios, with some exploring sculpture using air-dry clay. They have created imaginative and skilfully crafted clay busts that showcase both creativity and technical ability.
Meanwhile, our Year 11 students are strengthening their observational skills through detailed still life studies.
We are incredibly proud of our students’ creativity and commitment, and we look forward to continuing to share their artistic journey with our school community.
Reminder the Art Club is meeting in Room D05 every Thursday during lunchtime. Students of all year levels are welcomed!
